San Francisco Museums - Seeing the museums should be a high priority as in San Francisco they are interesting and fun as well as informative and they they offer some of the best cultural aspects of San Francisco. There is so much to see, do and learn in the museums so taking the time to go to them is well worth it. The Bay Area Discovery Museum is a great place to take the kids and you’ll enjoy it too. There are a lot of hands-on exhibits and outdoor activities, too. There is even an underwater sea tunnel to better see some aquatic exhibits.

This museum is where you’ll see all about the beginnings of the cable car in San Francisco. An interesting outing you won’t want to miss and it is great when you can take a real cable car trip immediately before or after.

California Academy of Sciences

The California Academy of Sciences, admission about $8 and less for children, has a group of penguins, an aquarium and much more and is open from 10 am to 5 pm. This is a great museum for young and old alike and particularly for anyone interested in natural life. Look out for Third Thursday (of the month) special admission fee.
