SAN FRANCISCO INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

San Francisco International Airport - This airport is located about 15 miles from downtown San Francisco. Built in 1927 it is the fifth largest airport in the country. It houses everything from shopping, fine choices in dining and an Aviation Museum. If you need business services they’re available, too, as well as banking facilities where you can get a hold of cash or exchange your currency. There is an aquarium and two museums so the Airport has everything you might need to start your trip to San Francisco off right.

Travel Guide

Getting to and from the airport to your hotel or other place in San Francisco is easy. You can take the BART - rapid transit - it costs around $5 to $6 and the journey in is about thirty minutes. You can get more info from 1-650-689-8365

Door-to-door vans are another way to get from San Francisco Airport to the center. It depends on the number of passengers in your group, where you’re going. You just go to the Departures/Ticketing level and grab your van. You should pre-book your seat for the return journey. You can also travel to and from San Francisco Airport by taxi or if you’re living it up, a limousine. If you want to rent a car you can pick it up at the airport car hire desks but it’s best to make a reservation in advance and you can check this out over the internet.

A lot of Hotels in San Francisco offer special shuttles to and from the airport also.
