San Francisco International Airport - This airport is located about 15 miles from downtown San Francisco. Built in 1927 it is the fifth largest airport in the country. It houses everything from shopping, fine choices in dining and an Aviation Museum. Getting to and from the airport to your hotel or other
place in San Francisco is easy. You can take
the BART - rapid transit - it costs around $5 to $6 and the

Door-to-door vans are another way to get from San
Francisco Airport to the center. It depends on the
number of passengers in your group, where you’re going.
You just go to the Departures/Ticketing level and grab your
van. You should pre-book your seat for the return journey.

You can also travel to and from San Francisco Airport
by taxi or if you’re living it up, a limousine. If you
want to rent a car you can pick it up at the airport car hire
desks but it’s best to make a reservation in advance
and you can check this out over the internet.
A lot of Hotels in San Francisco offer special
shuttles to and from the airport also.
